About the Journal

Islamic Pedagogy Evaluation Journal (IPEJ) is dedicated to advancing the quality of Islamic education through rigorous scholarship in educational evaluation and pedagogy. The journal disseminates innovative, evidence-based, and forward-looking research that critically examines teaching, learning, assessment, and educational development within Islamic educational contexts. IPEJ aims to bridge educational theory, evaluative practice, and Islamic values, providing a scholarly platform for researchers, educators, and policymakers to enhance the effectiveness and sustainability of Islamic education across diverse settings. Manuscripts submitted to this journal must be original, unpublished, and academically significant, contributing to national and/or international scholarly discourse. IPEJ publishes peer-reviewed research articles that primarily focus on educational assessment and evaluation in Islamic education, while also welcoming studies on related areas such as teaching and learning models, curriculum and instructional development, technology-enhanced learning, teacher professional development, character education, language and literacy education, provided that such studies demonstrate clear implications for the improvement of Islamic educational practice.
